The Admin and Finance Officer (AFO) will be responsible for financial management of the project and accountable to ensure transparency and efficient cost-effective implementation. Additionally, s/he has major responsibility to ensure professional accounting, timely financial reporting and support for audit of project accounts. Ensure financial compliance of both funding agencies and project partners. Provide logistic support for program & staffs.
Required qualification, experience and skills.
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and Administration, or an equivalent discipline with 3 years of experiences in a relevant field. Advantage will be given to Master’s degree in a similar discipline with 2 years of experience.
- Should have good amount of knowledge on prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Must be demonstrative to prepare vouchers and enter them in the books of accounts also prepare periodic Trail balance, bank reconciliation, income and expenditures, budget and expenses reports for each project.
- Have sound knowledge with the local/province/Nepal government tax laws.
- Facilitate recruitment, procurement, staff movements and employee database maintenance.
- Management of store inventory & periodic reporting.
- Assist procurement committee in goods & services procurement process.
- Able to run accounting software on computer and have demonstrative skills in financial management.
Motorbike/vehicle license is desirable.
